CASE STUDY: Mitch is about to begin his first interview for a nursing position at a respected hospital. He feels confident in his ability to secure the position because he has researched the organization, prepared to answer difficult questions(as well as some questions of his own), arrived 5 minutes early, and made sure his appearance was professional and appropriate. As he enters the interviewer’s office, he smiles and shakes the recruiter’s hand. During the interview, the recruiter excuses herself several times to answer the phone and then leaves the office for 15 minutes to handle a situation. During the absence, Mitch reviews his questions.
